Drug and its side effect

Posted in Health, Medical

Each drug as mention before in previous article got their beneficial an side effect. Side effect its self are usually giving bad contribution to patient health, so its needed to consult your medical consultant.

I have discuss about some good side effect of certain drugs in previous article, so now I’d like to discuss some unwanted side effect of drugs. Base on some study and research, each drug have at least 70 side effect with most possible harmful or dangerous reaction or side effect.

The drugs I’m talking about most of them are antidepressants, and antiviral drugs which are use for nervous system treatment. Meanwhile, a drug that has the least side effects generally are medications for skin and eye diseases.

As for side effect we could see it on the drugs labels that could be found inside or sometime out side of the drug package. But not all of the side effect are listed in there, and of course it would impact on the selling if its listed. And that’s the reason why sometimes side effects are uncommon, but manufacturers still include anticipation of litigation if things happen that are not desirable.

Based on those fact medical consultant should upgrade or renew their knowledge of drugs and disease treatment. They have to weigh the risk and the benefit of the drugs before giving it to the patients.
The numbers of disease and drugs could be found in the market made both medical consultant and patient whom look for information couldn’t just rely on books on library. The simple thing is looking for article material related on some article software which would be more easier and could be one of their digital resource.

Risk and benefit ratio is a comparison between the risk of harm in a drug with the benefits when taking them. Doctors always use the consideration that, in the hope of patients receive maximum benefit with minimum risk.

The drug labels on the package are commonly too long that sometime made the patient difficult to understand the side effect, but of course these need medical consultant help to do the treatment according to patient condition and explain it to them.
